Virtual Instructor-Led Workshop Description 

The Aviation Occupational Safety & Health virtual workshop is developed for Canadian air operators who have employees working onboard their aircraft. This workshop is designed for Managers, Supervisors, and Health & Safety Committee members to establish a robust Aviation Occupational Safety & Health program within their company. The intent of this workshop is to educate employers on the health and safety of their crew members, in accordance with the Canada Labour Code Part II, and the Aviation Occupational Safety and Health regulations. 

Course Content

 • Establishing a Health and Safety Committee 

• Roles and Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Committee 

• Aviation Occupational Health & Safety training for employees 

• Sound Level Testing 

• Your Employees 3 Basic Rights 

• The Internal Complaint Resolution Process 

• Hazardous Occurrence and Investigation Reporting & Recording 

• Substance Abuse in the Workplace

• Non-compliances resulting from a Transport Canada Aviation Occupational Health and Safety Inspection 

 Workshop Cost 

• $650 – regular price 

• $520 – for CCAA partners 

Outcome

 Upon completion of this course air operators will achieve the knowledge to create a functional AOSH program. This training will ensure your AOSH program will reduce injuries and occupational diseases and deal effectively with any accidents or incidents that occur onboard your aircraft.
