Moira joined the Ontario Aerospace Council in November 2014 as Executive Director. She brings a strong background in marketing & communications with an entrepreneurial outlook. Prior to joining OAC, she held senior management positions with Safran Landing Systems (formerly Messier-Bugatti-Dowty) for more than 11 years. Her extensive work experience in large corporations, SMEs and as a business owner – provides a well-rounded perspective from an operating standpoint as well as understanding the value offering required for the diverse group of companies that make up the OAC. She brings extensive international connections and sound perspectives on the global Aerospace industry. In 2009, Moira was appointed to the Aviation Executive Board of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) in the US and chairs the Light Commercial & General Aviation Committee for 8 years. Moira sits on the board of Ryerson Institute for Aerospace Design and Innovation, NextGen Manufacturing Supercluster and several CCAA Labour Market committees.
