Robert DonaldExecutive Director and CEO, Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace Robert Donald is the Executive Director and CEO of the Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace (CCAA). CCAA is a not-for-profit organization which works with industry, labour, educators and Governments to develop and implement a national labour market strategy. CCAA’s mission is to assist industry ensure it has an adequate number of workers with the skills needed by industry. Mr. Donald has extensive experience in the aviation and Aerospace industry. He is the former General Counsel of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) working from Geneva and Montreal. During his time with IATA he worked with all segments of the aviation/aerospace industry, including airlines, airframe and engine manufacturers, airports, freight forwarders, governments, regulators and academics. Mr. Donald is also Counsel to DLA Piper L.L.P.’s global aviation practice. He received his degree in law from McGill University, a BA from Concordia University, and a postgraduate diploma in European Union competition law from King’s College in London, England. |
