All CCAA workshops are based on a National Occupational Standard (NOS) or specific Transport Canada regulatory requirement.  The workshops are carefully designed to provide participants with the tools and knowledge  

necessary to comply with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)

COURSE DESCRIPTION  Corrective Action Plans Workshop  

Workshop description:

This 1-day workshop is intended for individuals who may be required to respond to audit findings

by developing corrective action plans.  Participants will learn to develop meaningful and

appropriate corrective action plans.  Content covered in this workshop includes:

Ø   Understanding management system basics as they apply to audit findings

Ø   Understanding the fundamentals of Short Term (corrective) action plans

Ø   Understanding and applying methods for determining the root causes of a finding

Ø   Developing Long Term (preventative) action plans

Course content:

Ø   Regulations and Company policy

Ø   Process & Procedures

Ø   Quality Control & Quality Assurance

Ø   Audit findings and Process Variation

Ø   Short-Term and Long-Term Action Plans, 

Ø   Root Cause Assessment and Preventative Actions

Ø   Case studies


•   $585 (plus 5 % taxes)– for HAC Members

Our Instuctor, Michelle Wallmer (nee: Riddell)

Michelle Wallmer has been in the aviation industry for over 10 years working with fixed wing and rotorcraft. She was the first CCAA Certified Quality Systems Auditor in Canada.

Her own commitment to training and safety is one of the reasons that Michelle has chosen to work with CCAA. She says, “I have been directly involved with CCAA programs since 2010 and so it is great to be able to finally partner with them.
