Wings and Helicopters Careers in Aviation Expos 2018

WINGS and HELICOPTERS Careers in Aviation Expos 2018 set to soar!

Simcoe/Toronto, Ont., Dec. 1, 2017 – Educating and developing a new generation of pilots, maintenance engineers, airport professionals and more is a critical issue facing the aviation industry today, and Wings and Helicopters magazines are doing their part in education generation next with their annual Careers in Aviation Expos.

Set at two great aviation venues in 2018 – Sat. April 28 at the Jazz Aviation LP hangar in Toronto and Sat., May 12 at the Aurora Jet Partners FBO in Edmonton – the Expos are a live version of the Careers in Aviation Guide that runs with the January/February issue of Wings and the January issue of Helicopters.

The Expos are a great place to give aspiring aviators a chance to network and share information about potential career options. The days feature presentations from a broad cross section of industry professions, mentoring sessions with industry experts, numerous networking opportunities, special tours of the facilities – even prize giveaways!

Registration for the event starts at 8 AM in each city and the events run to approximately 2 PM. The cost is $65 and the first 100 air cadets registered are free. Registration here.

“If you’re interested in a career in aviation or the aerospace field, this is definitely the place to be,” notes Sam Longo, AME A&P, president of the AME Association of Ontario. “It’s a great opportunity to meet leading aviation and aerospace professionals and get a better feel for the nuances of so many different professions.”
