Free online PPE course for Aircraft Technicians:

To assist in transitioning to new worksite health and safety protocols, CCAA now offers its Online PPE for Aircraft Technicians course free of charge until July 31 2020.  

New Avionics Fundamentals and Troubleshooting Online Training:

CCAA has created 2 New Online Courses in response to industry demand: Avionics Training: Fundamental Skills for Aircraft Electronic and Electrical Systems,  and  Troubleshooting & Analytical Thinking. Increased  Student Wage Subsidies for Canadian Companies and Organizations :

CCAA is the first delivery partner for the federal government's Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) in the aviation and aerospace sector. CCAA created these industry validated online assessments to quickly gauge a technician’s knowledge against the Canadian occupational standard. From Aircraft Maintenance Technician to Airside worker, 17 occupational assessments deliver a clear report of a person’s technical strengths and show where to focus training. Intended for those already in the workforce, members of a team, or for qualifying people trained in other industries or outside Canada, learn more and sign up here. Practical testing and assessments have also been developed for key trades.
